About The Position

The Senior Account Executive, Investment Sales plays a critical role in Alumni Ventures’ growth by converting prospective investors into first-time AV investors and establishing the foundation for long-term relationships. Reporting to the EVP of Nurture Marketing within the Investor Conversion Pillar, this role owns inbound and warm prospect conversations from qualification through close. This is a solution-selling role focused on understanding each prospect’s motivations, goals for venture exposure, investment experience, and buying signals, then connecting those needs to an appropriate AV offering. Offerings may include a syndicate deal, an Alumni Fund, a Focused Fund, or the Foundation Fund. The primary goal is zero-to-one conversion: helping a new prospect make their first AV investment while establishing trust and understanding that the Relationship Management team can build on. The role also maintains accurate CRM records and follow-through, partners with Marketing and Nurture teams to improve lead quality and prospect education, contributes to coaching and call-quality practices, and uses AI tools for research, preparation, and personalized follow-up. The position is based in AV’s five-day-a-week, in-office culture.
