Senior Account Executive /Sales Director (Channel Partnerships)

NexxenNew York, NY
$120,000 - $165,000Hybrid

About The Position

We are looking for a driven Senior AE/Sales Director, Channel Partnerships to own new business growth for our demand-side platform across the partner channel. This is a quota-carrying role responsible for building pipeline, running the full sales cycle, and closing platform agreements with media owners, technology providers, and data businesses that buy or build on programmatic buying technology. The ideal candidate is a consultative seller who is fluent in digital advertising infrastructure and comfortable moving between commercial and technical stakeholders in the same conversation. You'll partner with Solutions, Product, and Client Services to bring the right story to each opportunity, and to keep new accounts growing once they are live.

Requirements

  • Experience working at a DSP, SSP, exchange, publisher technology company, retail media network, or advertising platform.
  • An established network across the media and advertising technology ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of CTV, omnichannel media buying, retail media, and AI-enabled optimization.
  • Familiarity with self-service platform sales, seat licensing, or white-label technology models.

Responsibilities

  • Own a new business revenue target and build the pipeline to hit it across an assigned set of channel accounts and prospects.
  • Source opportunities through outbound prospecting, industry networking, inbound interest, and referrals.
  • Map target accounts to identify decision makers, buying centers, and whitespace across the partner landscape.
  • Run the full sales cycle from first conversation through signed agreement and first spend.
  • Lead discovery to understand each prospect's business model, monetization goals, current technology stack, and buying workflow.
  • Position the platform against specific commercial problems rather than a feature list, and tailor demos and proposals accordingly.
  • Build pricing and commercial models that work for both sides, including licensing and managed service.
  • Negotiate and close platform agreements, working with Legal and Finance through contracting.
  • Work with Client Services and Solutions to onboard new accounts, drive activation, and get partners to meaningful spend quickly.
  • Grow revenue inside closed accounts through new use cases, additional teams, and broader channel adoption.
  • Run regular business reviews to track performance against agreed goals and surface expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting in CRM, and report on performance to sales leadership.
  • Act as the voice of the partner internally, bringing structured feedback on product gaps and competitive dynamics to Product and Leadership.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, partner events, and client meetings.
  • Maintain working expertise in programmatic buying, CTV, retail media, identity and addressability, curation, and AI-driven optimization.
  • Track competing platform offerings and adjust positioning and messaging accordingly.
