About The Position

Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring a local Semi Driver for its Duncanville, Texas branch. The role involves hauling construction equipment and serving customers through equipment delivery, safe-operation instruction, paperwork, and customer-service support. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with an occasional rotating on-call schedule. The typical shift is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the position is eligible for overtime. Requirements

Unrestricted Class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement.
DOT Medical Card.
At least 2 years of semi-driving experience.
Physical agility to load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders.
Customer-oriented approach and ability to provide superior customer service.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and customers.
Safety-oriented approach and a safe driving record.
Willingness to learn and adapt.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a wrecker or flatbed driver hauling heavy construction equipment is preferred.
Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Haul and deliver equipment locally.
Load, offload, and secure equipment using chains and binders.
Instruct customers on the safe and proper operation of equipment.
Complete paperwork and help ensure customer satisfaction.
Communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and customers.
Prioritize safety, follow safety standards, and maintain a safe driving record.
