About The Position

Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring a Semi Driver based in Duncanville, Texas. The role involves local driving and transporting heavy construction equipment. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with an occasional rotating on-call schedule. The typical shift is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the position is eligible for overtime. Pay depends on experience and is paid weekly. The driver loads, offloads, and secures equipment using chains and binders; instructs customers on safe and proper equipment operation; completes paperwork; and works to ensure customer satisfaction. Requirements

Unrestricted Class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement.
DOT Medical Card.
At least 2 years of experience driving a semi.
Physical agility to load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders.
Customer-oriented approach and ability to provide superior customer service.
Effective, professional communication and teamwork skills.
Safety-oriented approach and a safe driving record.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and meet Sunstate's standards of excellence.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a wrecker or flatbed driver hauling heavy construction equipment.
Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

Drive locally and transport equipment, including heavy construction equipment.
