About The Position

Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring a local driver in Grand Junction, Colorado. The driver will operate a rollback most of the time and drive a semi when needed. The role includes loading and unloading equipment and communicating effectively and professionally with coworkers and customers. Drivers should know the local area or be able to use navigation to travel between destinations.

The typical schedule is Monday through Friday on the morning shift, 40 hours per week, with overtime eligibility based on business needs. The role is paid weekly, with starting pay of $26.05–$35.20 per hour depending on experience. Sunstate is a Second Chance employer and evaluates every candidate on a case-by-case basis.

Requirements

• Unrestricted Class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement.
• DOT Medical Card.
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and customers.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with construction equipment is helpful but not required.
• Familiarity with the local metro area.
