About The Position
Omega Flex Inc. is seeking a Segmenter to join its production team in Houston, Texas. The role supports the manufacturing of flexible gas hose by accurately cutting, shaping, and preparing raw materials according to production specifications, while meeting safety and quality standards. The position involves operating and maintaining cutting equipment and collaborating with production and quality-control personnel.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or work instructions.
- Familiarity with cutting equipment and manufacturing tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift materials as needed.

Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and segment raw materials using specialized equipment such as saws, laser cutters, or automated machinery.
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure cuts meet specifications and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain cutting equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and report malfunctions.
- Follow company and industry safety guidelines.
- Work with production teams, machine operators, and quality-control personnel to meet production targets.
