About The Position

Physical Intelligence builds AI for robots. Its operations teams keep hands-on work running on schedule for research and production. The Environment Coordinator plans and purchases supplies for an assigned area, directs the people doing the work each day, and keeps operations moving when priorities change.

The Set + Props team supports research and production operations by building and maintaining physical workspaces and keeping them supplied so work runs on schedule across every shift. The team includes coordinators, shift specialists, and contractors who flex with demand.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, inventory, set building, production design, retail or event installs, kitchen, or warehouse operations.
• Experience coordinating a team's daily work on tight timelines.
• Strong judgment on quantities, timing, and priorities.
• Attention to detail and comfort with tracking tools.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 40 lbs, and move around all shift.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in film, TV, theater, or event set work.
• Experience buying consumables on a daily cadence.
• Familiarity with inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Turn incoming requirements into a weekly work plan.
• Source and buy supplies within a set budget.
• Decide quantities, timing, and priorities when requests compete.
• Direct contractors and Specialists day to day, and work hands-on when the team needs it.
• Check that work is complete and meets specifications before handoff.
