About The Position

Bellingham at West Chester is hiring a hospitality-focused Security professional to greet residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers warmly and professionally. The role helps maintain a secure environment for residents and their property, as well as company property. The schedule is every Saturday and Sunday overnight, at $16 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to make decisions quickly and in accordance with established protocol.
• Must have or be willing to receive training in first responder and first aid.
• One year of security experience preferred.
• Enthusiasm, compassion, and a passion for hospitality and senior engagement.

Responsibilities

• Make scheduled rounds inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property, as well as company property.
• Respond to fire alarms and apartment emergency calls.
• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with residents, family members, visitors, and personnel to ensure security procedures meet the facility’s needs.
• Assist with special security needs involving employees, visitors, and other community members.
• Provide written reports of community incidents during the shift that the Director of Facilities and other administration may need to know about.
• Maintain facility entrances for safe passage at all times.
• Shovel and keep exit-door walkways clear during and after snowstorms.
• Meet and greet residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers in a warm and professional manner.
