About The Position

Bellingham at West Chester is recruiting a hospitality-focused Security professional who greets residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers in a warm and professional manner. This role helps maintain a secure environment for residents and their property, as well as company property, and supports the community during overnight weekend shifts. The schedule is every Saturday and Sunday overnight, with pay of $16 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to make decisions quickly and in accordance with established protocol.
• Must have or be willing to complete first responder and first aid training.

Nice To Haves

• One year of security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make scheduled rounds inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property, as well as company property.
• Respond to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls.
• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with residents, family members, visitors, and personnel to ensure security procedures meet the facility’s needs.
• Assist with special security needs involving employees, visitors, and other community members.
• Provide written reports of community incidents during the shift that the Director of Facilities and other administrators may need to know about.
• Maintain facility entrances for safe passage and shovel and clear exit-door walkways during and after snowstorms.
• Greet residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers in a warm and professional manner.
