About The Position

Beztak Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver to provide exemplary personalized care that meets residents’ physical and social needs. The role involves helping residents feel comfortable and safe, supporting their daily living needs, and encouraging an engaging living environment. The position may also involve participating in community activities, helping train new employees, driving for work-related purposes when needed, and handling urgent matters and conflict in a high-pressure environment.

Candidates should bring a caring, positive demeanor and a commitment to creating an engaging environment for seniors. Applicants must complete pre-employment testing in accordance with company policies and applicable state requirements, which may include criminal background checks, fingerprinting, and drug testing. Additional state-specific requirements are described for Florida, Arizona, and Michigan.

The position typically operates indoors, with possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials. It may also involve outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions and periodic confinement to a vehicle. Requirements

• One year of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, and bathing, while providing comfort and safety.
• Respond to residents’ needs in a caring and positive manner.
• Encourage and assist residents to participate in daily activities and maintain an engaging living environment.
• Assist with various community activities as needed.
• Assist in training and developing new employees.
• Handle urgent matters and resolve conflicts in a high-pressure environment while interacting with customers and vendors.
• Operate a company or personal vehicle for work-related purposes as needed.
