About The Position

Circle of Life Personal Care provides non-medical care in Northwest Arkansas, extending the compassionate approach Circle of Life has brought to hospice care for over 30 years. Caregivers provide services such as respite care, companionship, meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, and assistance with activities of daily living. The role offers flexible PRN scheduling, the ability to choose assignments and coverage areas, caregiver-client matching based on client needs and caregiver fit, paid drive time between clients, and mileage reimbursement for errands or client transportation. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour, with a weekend differential for work between 7 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday.

Requirements

• Demonstrate compassion and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Be able to work independently and demonstrate dependable work habits.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Have a valid, current driver's license or access to reliable transportation.
• Meet pre-employment screening criteria.

Nice To Haves

• Prior caregiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and sitting.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and other activities of daily living.
• Transport and assist clients to appointments.
• Run errands and transport clients to events.
• Prepare meals.
• Assist with light housekeeping.
• Assist with recreational activities, such as crafting, letter writing, and exercising.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
