About The Position
The Security team member is responsible for maintaining a secure environment for all employees and residents at the community. The role involves securing facility areas, monitoring safety and security equipment, conducting rounds, and responding to unusual activity or emergencies.
Requirements
- Take pride in providing and protecting a safe environment for others.
- Have a keen eye for noticing unusual activity and people or things that are out of place.
- Be able to confront, de-escalate, or resolve situations that present a safety concern.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in security in some capacity.
Responsibilities
- Secure all areas of the facility by checking for open doors or unusual activity.
- Monitor emergency and safety equipment, including security cameras, phones, and life safety systems.
- Complete regularly scheduled rounds in and around the building.
- Communicate about and respond to unusual activity or emergency situations.
