About The Position
The Security employee is responsible for maintaining a secure environment for all employees and residents at the community. The role involves securing facility areas, monitoring safety and security equipment, conducting rounds, and responding to unusual activity or emergencies.
Requirements
- Take pride in providing and protecting a safe environment for others.
- Have a keen eye for noticing unusual activity and things or people that are out of place.
- Be able to confront, de-escalate, or resolve situations that raise safety concerns.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in security in some capacity is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Secure all areas of the facility by checking for open doors or unusual activity.
- Monitor emergency and safety equipment, including security cameras, phones, and life safety systems.
- Complete regularly scheduled rounds in and around the building.
- Communicate about and respond to unusual activity or emergency situations.
