About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor for a site in Macon, Georgia. The supervisor oversees daily security services and assigned site officers, adapting duties to customer-service needs, patrols, surveillance, and special events. The role serves as a liaison among GardaWorld, the client, and assigned staff, and supports staffing, payroll, training, safety, reporting, and operational response. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The role pays $18.84 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost.

Requirements

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and meet GardaWorld's driving requirements, including having a good driving record.
Must pass an extensive screening process.
Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
Responsive with strong problem-solving skills.
Must have a state license if required.

Responsibilities

Ensure GardaWorld's core values are integrated throughout business practices.
Supervise day-to-day security services at the facility and ensure they meet high standards.
Assist with developing and implementing staffing schedules, payroll, and other reports.
Ensure operational logs, records, and post orders are properly maintained.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with the client and employees, serving as liaison among GardaWorld, the client, and assigned staff.
Assist with selecting, orienting, training, and continually developing staff assigned to the account.
Promote a goal of zero safety incidents and maintain an appropriate safety culture and program.
Review officer schedules and staffing levels to identify improvements to security operations and opportunities to reduce risk and cost.
Respond to operational emergencies and ensure timely response, efficient communications, and accurate reporting.
Direct, supervise, and support site officers.
Recommend, nominate, and distribute rewards and recognition.
Apply corrective action and discipline to subordinate officers, including formal warnings, and recommend or participate in further disciplinary decisions up to termination.
Supervise and manage employees at the assigned job site.
Maintain a healthy, professional relationship with the client at the assigned site.
Exercise independent judgment and sound decision-making in performing duties.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
