About The Position

Securitas USA is seeking a strong leader with excellent customer service skills to supervise a security team at a site in Champaign, Illinois. The supervisor will support security officers, ensure compliance with post orders and company protocols, maintain site coverage, respond to incidents, train and coach officers, and handle designated payroll and personnel submissions. The position is full-time, pays $22.00 per hour, and has available 2nd- and 3rd-shift schedules. Former military and law enforcement candidates are encouraged to apply. Securitas provides training and support from regional and area management staff.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• Advanced computer and technology skills.
• Strong communication, reporting, and organization skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals.
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Must participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of security and supervisor experience preferred.
• Former military or law enforcement experience is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of security officers on site.
• Ensure officers follow post orders and Securitas protocols.
• Communicate routine patrols and ensure proper site coverage at all times.
• Inspect posts as scheduled and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Respond to incidents and manage emergency situations effectively.
• Train new officers and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Assist with submitting payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
• Maintain detailed reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs.
