About The Position

Securitas is hiring a full-time Security Site Supervisor in Champaign, Illinois, for available second- and third-shift schedules at $22.00 per hour. The supervisor leads and supports on-site security officers, ensures compliance with post orders and company protocols, and helps maintain site coverage and safety. The role includes responding to incidents, training and coaching officers, assisting with payroll and personnel submissions, and maintaining reports and activity logs. Former military and law enforcement candidates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
Advanced computer and technology skills needed.
Strong communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals.
Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of security and supervisor experience preferred.
Former military or law enforcement experience is encouraged.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support a team of on-site security officers.
Ensure officers follow post orders and Securitas protocols.
Communicate routine patrols and ensure proper site coverage at all times.
Inspect posts as scheduled and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
Respond to incidents and manage emergency situations effectively.
Train new officers and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Assist in submitting payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
Maintain detailed reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs.
