About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Site Supervisor for a concierge post in Norfolk, Virginia. This customer-service-focused role serves people in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The supervisor welcomes and assists visitors, manages access control, conducts patrols, checks security equipment, responds to incidents, and helps protect people and property. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, on the first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The position pays $21.00 per hour. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have an active DCJS License.
• Have at least one year of security supervisory experience.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Be proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
