About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Site Supervisor to oversee the professional operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed security services at a client site in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. The role is full-time, with morning or afternoon shift availability and a starting pay rate of $17.50 per hour. Workdays are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

The supervisor oversees site security operations and assigned personnel, including staffing, scheduling, training, performance, and contract compliance. The role also involves responding to client requests, maintaining operational records, making recommendations about personnel and site security, and providing direction to subordinates. Allied Universal provides state training for a security license, uniforms, and training at no cost.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass any state-required training or other qualifications for licensing.
• Must pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle.
• Must have at least one of the following: active-duty military, military reserve, or National Guard service; Auxiliary Police or Police Cadet service; at least one year of verifiable and successful supervisory experience in a security-related industry; or an associate degree or higher in any discipline.
• Able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Active listening skills.
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively and identify critical issues quickly and accurately.

• Security experience of at least one year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of on-site security operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training personnel assigned to the site.
• Ensure contract-required training and screening requirements for security personnel are met.
• Keep overtime to a minimum or within requirements designated by Allied Universal.
• Inspect security personnel and their job performance to help ensure service quality and contract compliance.
• Perform operational and related duties, including payroll, reviewing and maintaining incident reports, and assisting with security surveys and post orders.
• Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions concerning directly supervised employees.
• Respond to client requests.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site post orders.
• Direct and instruct subordinates in performing their duties.
• Make disciplinary action and commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel.
• Recommend productivity improvements and cost reductions to management.
• Recommend physical security surveys and post orders.
