About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services during an assigned shift at a customer site in Savannah, Georgia. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

This is a full-time morning-shift position working Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The starting base pay is $23.00 per hour. Allied Universal provides state training for a security license, uniforms, and training at no cost. Weekly and/or instant pay options are available.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• At least one year of security experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare neat, legible written reports and logs frequently.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver-record check may also be required.
• Security licensing requirements are subject to applicable state and local laws and may be required before employment.
• For driving positions: valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record meeting the listed violation limits, insurance meeting company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities
