About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and security officers. The role includes supervising staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

The position pays $20.00 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Candidates must have at least one year of relevant security experience and demonstrable supervisory experience. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol testing; a driving-record check may also be required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least one year of relevant security experience.
• Demonstrable supervisory experience, including managing teams, overseeing operations, and ensuring compliance with security protocols and procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare neat, legible written reports and logs.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver-record check may be required.
• Licensing may be required before employment, depending on state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on the assigned shift.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Frequently prepare written reports and logs.
