About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate quality security services on an assigned customer shift at an unarmed hospital. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs frequently in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Intermediate computer skills to use client-specific wireless technology.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• For driving positions: valid driver’s license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record meeting company criteria, required insurance coverage, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• A driver record check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on an assigned shift.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication.
