About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at a client site calmly and efficiently.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• For driving positions: valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience; a clean driving record under the stated company criteria; required minimum insurance; and ability to safely operate a vehicle. A driver record check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate quality security services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
• Respond calmly and efficiently to common and crisis situations at the client site.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication.
