About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on an assigned customer shift. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and security officers. The role includes supervising staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The position requires open availability and at least one year of security experience.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• At least one year of security experience.
• Open availability.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• For driving positions: valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record meeting the stated criteria, insurance meeting company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
