About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring an unarmed Security Shift Supervisor at $22.17 per hour. The supervisor oversees and coordinates the delivery of quality security services during an assigned shift at a customer site. This role serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The supervisor also oversees staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally and effectively with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver-record check may also be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• For driving positions: valid driver’s license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record under the stated standards, minimum insurance required by company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities
