About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role supervises staff on the assigned shift and provides coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The listed pay rate is $19.34.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of supervisory experience, and 1 year of security experience.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally and effectively with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Be able to prepare written reports and logs frequently in neat, legible handwriting.
• Be able to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Be able to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• For driving positions, have a valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience; meet the stated clean driving record standards; maintain the minimum insurance required by company policy; and be able to operate a vehicle safely.
