About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate quality security services during an assigned shift at an industrial plant/refinery in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and security officers. They supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. This is a full-time, unarmed position requiring a TWIC card. The role follows a rotating schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with shifts from 5:45 AM to 5:45 PM or 5:45 PM to 5:45 AM. Pay is $20–$25 per hour, based on experience, and is paid weekly.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold an active, in-hand TWIC card.
• Have a valid Louisiana driver’s license held for at least one year and a clean driving record.
• Have 3–5 years of verifiable security supervision experience.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Demonstrate effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting, and read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• For driving positions, meet company insurance requirements and be able to safely operate a required vehicle; driving record standards include no major violations in the last 36 months, no more than one accident in the last 24 months, and no more than one minor moving violation in the last 24 months.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver’s record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Be able to work a rotating schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate delivery of quality security services on an assigned shift at the customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
