About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate quality services during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs neatly and legibly.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Intermediate computer skills to use innovative wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at client sites calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in cold, rainy, snowy, or hot conditions.
• Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds, occasionally climb stairs, ramps, or ladders, and stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
