About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. The supervisor acts as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Be able to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• For driving positions, possess a valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record meeting the stated criteria, the minimum insurance required by company policy, and the ability to operate a vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate delivery of quality services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
