About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally and effectively with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Be able to prepare written reports and logs frequently in neat, legible handwriting.
• Be able to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• For driving positions: hold a valid driver's license and have at least one year of driving experience; meet the stated driving-record, insurance, and safe vehicle operation requirements.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Be able to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate quality services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and security officers.
• Supervise assigned-shift staff and provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
