About The Position

The Security Shift Supervisor oversees day-to-day security operations at an on-site data center location in Turkey, Texas. The role ensures security policies, procedures, and standards are consistently followed to protect critical infrastructure, personnel, and assets, and supports compliance with client requirements and frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO. The position supervises shift-based operations, coordinates security personnel and site coverage, responds to incidents and emergencies, and works with the Security Manager and client stakeholders. The work takes place at a remote site with limited nearby services, including an active construction environment, outdoor areas exposed to extreme weather, and an office setting. The role requires adherence to PPE requirements in designated construction zones and while operating site vehicles, including UTVs. The position works days and nights on a Panama schedule and is 100% on-site.

Requirements

3–5+ years of experience in physical security; data center or critical-environment experience is preferred.
Prior supervisory or team lead experience.
Strong understanding of access control systems, CCTV, and security operations.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO.
Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods.
Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
Ability to navigate uneven terrain and active construction areas.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
Ability to respond quickly to incidents and emergencies.
Must be able to reliably commute to the on-site location in Turkey, Texas.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate shift-based security operations, including access control, surveillance, and patrols.
Ensure security officers follow post orders, SOPs, and site-specific protocols.
Monitor and manage access control systems, badge issuance, visitor management, and escort procedures.
Oversee CCTV and alarm systems and ensure timely responses to alerts and anomalies.
Serve as the first point of escalation for incidents, emergencies, and operational issues, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
Conduct preliminary incident investigations and support root cause analysis.
Ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO standards, and client-driven security requirements.
Perform routine site inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks.
Coordinate daily operations and escalations with the Security Manager and client stakeholders.
Lead shift briefings, training, and ongoing coaching for security personnel.
Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and coverage to meet operational demands.
Support emergency preparedness, including drills and response coordination.
Maintain accurate security operations and incident logs, reports, and metrics.
