About The Position

Securitas USA is seeking a strong leader with excellent customer service skills to supervise a team of security officers at a site in McCook, Illinois. The role supports the community through safety and security services, with dedicated regional and area management staff supporting employee growth and advancement. Former military and law enforcement candidates are encouraged to apply. The position is full-time and pays $25.00 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday–Wednesday and Friday–Saturday, 6 p.m.–6 a.m. Securitas provides training and support, and expects the supervisor to help maintain a safe and secure site, guide officers, respond to incidents, and maintain accurate operational records.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Prior supervisor experience required.
Advanced computer and technology skills required.
Strong communication, reporting, and organization skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals.
Strong conflict-resolution and de-escalation skills.
Willingness to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Former military or law enforcement experience is encouraged.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support a team of security officers on site.
Ensure officers follow post orders and Securitas protocols.
Communicate routine patrols and ensure proper site coverage at all times.
Inspect posts as scheduled and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
Respond to incidents and manage emergency situations effectively.
Train new officers and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Assist in submitting payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
Maintain detailed reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs.
