About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The stated pay rate is $21.65 per hour.

Requirements

• The posting states that applicants must be at least 21 years old; the qualifications section separately states a minimum age of 18.
• Supervisor experience is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• For driving positions, possess a valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record meeting the stated standards, the minimum insurance required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driving-record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use client-specific wireless technology.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
