About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring a Professional Security Shift Supervisor for a hospital assignment. The supervisor oversees and coordinates quality services during an assigned shift and serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role supervises staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. Pay is $26.70 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• For driving positions, have a valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience; meet the stated clean driving-record, insurance, and safe vehicle-operation requirements.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver-record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use innovative wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate delivery of quality services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication.
