About The Position

You will be the Security Representative Staff / Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) for the Security Team. Our team is responsible for managing security requirements for a large and fast‑moving Special Access Program. As the Security Representative Staff / Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) you will be responsible for safeguarding program assets and ensuring compliance with all applicable security regulations.

Requirements

  • Must have a Secret Clearance with an investigation within the past 5 years and have the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • Knowledge and experience implementing the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07.
  • Candidate must be a self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to articulate and present intelligent, decisive, and risk-managed security recommendations, based on limited and or conflicting information, is also essential, as is the ability to thrive and build relationships both within the corporation and externally with our government customers and industry partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills are required.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance with an investigation within 5 years to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with JADE, SIMS, DISS, and Special Access Programs (SAP) security compliance.
  • Experience working DoD Special Programs as a CSSO, ACSSO or physical security specialist.
  • Ability to work independently when required and be a team player.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Lead security oversight for the Special Access Program, ensuring compliance with NISPOM, DoD 5205.07, and ICD 705.
  • Conduct personnel, physical, and technical security assessments and provide risk‑managed solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver high‑level program leadership briefings and classified meeting support.
  • Develop and obtain approvals for test‑environment and facility security plans.
  • Manage Program Access Requests, classification management, and security education initiatives.
