Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
  • Excellent business acumen.
  • Ability to lead teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret RFPs and contract terms, develop contract positions as they relate to risks and identify opportunities.
  • Experience with Lockheed Martin Contracts processes.
  • Ability to comprehend complex financial and business concepts.
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, ECE, DMS, with ability to grasp other software applications required to perform job duties.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail and teamwork oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Able to travel domestic and/or internationally when required.

  • Experience interpreting and negotiating terms and conditions with US Government agencies and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) terms and conditions with commercial companies.
  • US Government and DCS proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply advanced concepts, techniques, and standards to create innovative solutions.
  • Design new applications grounded in professional principles and theories.
  • Engineer solutions to uniquely complex problems, establishing precedents for future decisions.
  • Serve as a consultant to senior management and act as the organization’s external spokesperson on major policy matters.
  • Exercise considerable latitude in setting objectives and determining approaches, influencing long‑lasting organizational outcomes.
  • Support the capture efforts, contract administration, and lead contract negotiations of MFC proposals/contracts associated primarily with the Sniper and IRST program areas.
  • Establish effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers.
  • Interpret RFPs and contract terms, develop contract positions as they relate to risks and identify opportunities.
  • Handle multiple assignments while achieving program commitments.
  • Coordinate and participate in management reviews; proposal submission; fact-finding; contract negotiations, contract award and execution.
