About The Position

The Security Patrol helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The role preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives at client sites concerning personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The position is full-time, based in Wichita, Kansas, pays $15.75 per hour, and works a night shift from Thursday through Sunday, 0000–0800.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background investigation.
Driver Certification.

Responsibilities

Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
Use technology devices throughout the shift.
Conduct tours of the property.
Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
Respond to emergencies using effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
