About The Position

The Security Patrol helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The role preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives at client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. The position is full time, based in Wichita, Kansas, and pays $15.75 per hour. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 0000–0800.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
Driver Certification.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises, control access, and patrol assigned locations.
Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area.
Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
Interact frequently with client employees and guests.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
Use technology devices throughout the shift.
Conduct tours of the property.
Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
Respond to emergencies using rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
