About The Position

KRE Security is hiring a dependable, alert, and professional Security Patrol Officer for a stable, long-term assignment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a permanent post and no rotating shifts. The officer will patrol the property and surrounding areas, monitor conditions, report concerns, and respond to incidents. The work involves being outdoors in varying weather and requires comfort around wildlife in an urban environment.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour. Paid training is provided, and security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required. Overtime opportunities and advancement opportunities are available. PTO of up to 40 hours is earned after completing a 60-day probationary period. Health benefits are available to employees working 30 or more hours per week after the same probationary period.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Have strong observation and communication skills.
• Maintain a professional appearance, dependable work ethic, and punctual attendance.
• Be able to remain alert for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Be comfortable around wildlife in an urban environment.
• Pass a background check.

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional security presence at the assigned site.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property and surrounding areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and incidents.
• Respond appropriately to disturbances and emergencies.
• Monitor property conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Follow post orders and client policies.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports using Belfry software.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members.
