About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Mobile Patrol Driver in Bordentown, New Jersey. The role provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Hours may vary with claimed shifts, and the role offers a path to work up to 40 hours per week while retaining the option to scale back. The stated pay rate is $19.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Security Officer provides customer service and carries out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Duties include responding professionally to incidents and alarms, conducting unarmed mobile patrols, monitoring access and site conditions, documenting concerns, and communicating with site personnel and responders.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology and communications facilities, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and site conditions; report concerns and document incidents according to site-specific procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
