About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to provide security services at an aerospace and defense location in Elk River, Minnesota. This mobile patrol driving position involves conducting patrols, monitoring access points, and helping deter security-related incidents through a visible, professional presence. The officer will provide customer service, communicate clearly with personnel and visitors, and support access control operations. The position pays $26.01 per hour and is scheduled Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and in accordance with site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, identifying and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious conditions.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
