About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a mobile patrol driving post at a chemical/petrochemical location in Shreveport, Louisiana. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. The posted schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Pay is $17.86 per hour, with weekly pay. Applicants with law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following site procedures and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity or hazardous conditions.
Monitor site access by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles according to entry requirements.
Document daily activities, incidents, observations, and patrol findings in clear and accurate reports.
