About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a utilities location in Riviera Beach, Florida. This unarmed mobile patrol position involves driving and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. The officer provides customer service, conducts visible patrols, supports access control, responds to incidents, and documents shift activity. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Pay is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
Guard card required.
At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
