About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for an aerospace-focused warehouse location in Amityville, New York. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and reporting observations. The role also involves providing customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. The posted pay rate is $17.50 per hour. Scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
