About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a government location in Riverside, California. The officer will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report activity, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. The role includes responding to incidents and inquiries, monitoring access, and documenting security-related activities.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and public agencies as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with directing visitors according to site-specific procedures.
Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in required reports.
