About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol driver to serve and safeguard clients at a retail and mall location in Falls Church, Virginia. The officer conducts vehicle and foot patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provides customer service to visitors and tenants. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter; identify and report security-related concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events, following established site procedures.
Assist with access control, visitor direction, and monitoring authorized entry points while maintaining a professional presence.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
