About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Driver Patrol Security Officer for a healthcare location in Fairfax, Virginia. The officer will safeguard patients, visitors, staff, vendors, and client property by conducting routine and random patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access and visitor activity, and supporting a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The role also involves customer service, communication, incident response, and timely documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific procedures and carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following established protocols.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, direct individuals to appropriate areas, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Accurately and promptly document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site procedures.
