About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer in San Jose, California. The officer will safeguard clients by patrolling assigned locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment through customer service and communication. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license. The stated schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The pay rate is $23.00 per hour.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Monitor the location for unusual activity and report observations according to site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with established reporting requirements.
