About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry in Isle of Palms, South Carolina. The role provides a designated site and reliable weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform to increase their hours, with the potential to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The posted schedule is Sundays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and the pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

The officer provides customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while following site-specific access-control procedures and responding to emergencies. Duties include verifying access authorization, maintaining entry records, communicating concerns, responding professionally to incidents, and conducting patrols.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and service providers entering the residential community.
• Maintain visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry records according to site-specific procedures and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, common areas, and the community perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
