About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Control in Katy, Texas. The role provides consistent hours at an assigned commercial real estate site, with a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, potentially building up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The listed pay rate is $15.00 per hour, and the scheduled shift is Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, residents, visitors, and property management personnel while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Help enforce property access rules, direct visitors, and report maintenance, lighting, or other conditions that may affect the location.
