About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time experienced unarmed patrol Security Officer to support a commercial real estate location in Bedminster, New Jersey. The officer will help safeguard tenants, visitors, vendors, and property through routine patrols, monitoring, incident response, and customer service. The scheduled hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management by following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized access or suspicious conditions according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with company and site requirements.
